WestJet
Canadian budget airline WestJet began offering non-stop
flights between Vancouver and Honolulu and non-stop night
flights between Vancouver and Maui in December of 2005.
They began offering non-stop daytime flights from Vancouver to
both Honolulu and Kahului in December of 2007.
WestJet plans to offer non-stop flights between Calgary and
Honolulu in March and April of 2010 and non-stop flights
between Calgary and Kahului, Maui in April and May of 2010.

Canadian Airlines No Longer Flying to Hawaii
Harmony Airlines was founded in November of 2002 and they
began offering flights from Canada to Hawaii in December of 2005.
Their Vancouver-Honolulu, Vancouver-Maui, and Calgary-Maui
flights were discontinued in March of 2007 and Harmony Airways
shut down completely in April 2007.
Japanese Airlines That Fly to Hawaii
Air Japan
The low cost brand of All Nippon Airways (ANA), a Japanese
airline company that also operates Air Nippon.
Air Japan has several flights a week between Japan and Hawaii.
The shortest flight to Hawaii on Air Japan is 07:35 hours from
Tokyo to Honolulu.

Japan Air Lines (JAL)
Japan Air Lines, and its subsidiary Jalways, are the largest
Japanese based airlines flying to Hawaii.
In the mid-2000's Japan Air Lines was flying about
1 million passengers to Hawaii but by 2009 the
number of JAL passengers a year flying between
Japan and Hawaii was about 600,000.
Japan Airlines has two offices in Hawaii, one at
the Honolulu International Airport and one
at the Kona International Airport at Keahole.
JAL offers flights to Hawaii from Tokyo, Osaka, Nagoya, and other cities.

EWA Air
(pronounced E. V. A)
Taiwan-based Ewa Air operated flights between
Taipei and Honolulu in 2005 and 2006. They
no fly to Hawaii, but they do operate flights
to Seattle, San Francisco, and Los Angeles,
where Hawaii flights operated by other airlines
can be picked up. When Ewa Air was operating
flights to Hawaii, the flight from Taipei
to Honolulu took approximately 10 hours
