A timeline of significant dates in the aviation history of Oahu, from the first flight in 1910 through 1999, when the airfield at the former Barber's Point Naval Air Station was renamed the Kalaeloa Airport.

Commander John Rogers
Honolulu's first commercial airport was named after aviation pioneer John Rodgers. John Rodgers Airport opened in 1929. After World War II it was renamed the Honolulu Aiport, but the new terminal built in the 1960's was named after John Rodgers.
