Three New Hawaii Postage Stamps
Issued by the USPS in May of 2006

On May 27, 2006 the United States Postal Service released a series of forty stamps that paid tribute to natural and man-made superlatives in the United States. The series was called "Wonders of America: Land of Superlatives". There were three Hawaii stamps in that series, representing three of the natural wonders in Hawaii.

Three of Hawaii's islands were represented in the Wonders of America stamp series: Molokai was included in the series for having the highest seacliffs, Kauai for having the wettest spot at Mount Waialeale, and the Big Island of Hawaii for having Kilauea, the most active volcano.

HOW TO ORDER THESE HAWAII STAMPS: The Wonders of America Hawaii stamps can be purchased on the Web at the USPS Online Shop. Stamp collectors who wish to have an envelope with a first day of issue postmark will find instructions on the USPS Wonders of America Stamps Web page, under "Order the First Day of Issue Postmark".
