This book and CD gift set were inspired by Honolulu Magazine's
June 2004 Hawaiian music article: "The 50 Greatest Hawaii Albums
of All Time".
In June 2004, Honolulu Magazine put together a panel of experts
and named The 50 Greatest Hawaii Music Albums.
Mountain Apple Company compiled some of the best songs from the
albums featured in the Honolulu Magazine article and released
two CDs, one in 2004 and one in 2006.
Watermark Publishing expanded the 2004 Honolulu Magazine article
issue into a beautiful, full-color book complete with candid photos,
song lists and the fascinating stories behind the songs.
