Tuna Macaroni Salad
This version of macaroni salad includes canned tuna, hard boiled
eggs, and peas so it is hearty enough to be served as a cold entree
at a picnic on a warm summer day.
Salad Ingredients:
3 cups of macaroni
12 ounces of canned tuna
3 boiled eggs, chopped
2 stalks of celery, chopped
10 ounce package of frozen green peas
1 onion, chopped
1 green pepper, chopped
Dressing Ingredients:
1/3 cup of Italian dressing
1 cup mayonnaise
1/2 cup sour cream (optional)
1/2 teaspoons garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions:
Mix salad ingredients together, mix dressing ingredients
together, and gently fold the dressing into the salad.
This can be served in a large bowl garnished with hard cooked
egg slices and paprika. It can also be presented as individual
servings, scooped onto a lettice leaves or pineapple slices.
