Tuna Macaroni Salad

This version of macaroni salad includes canned tuna, hard boiled eggs, and peas so it is hearty enough to be served as a cold entree at a picnic on a warm summer day.

Salad Ingredients:
  • 3 cups of macaroni
  • 12 ounces of canned tuna
  • 3 boiled eggs, chopped
  • 2 stalks of celery, chopped
  • 10 ounce package of frozen green peas
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 green pepper, chopped

    Dressing Ingredients:
  • 1/3 cup of Italian dressing
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup sour cream (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper

    Instructions:
    Mix salad ingredients together, mix dressing ingredients together, and gently fold the dressing into the salad. This can be served in a large bowl garnished with hard cooked egg slices and paprika. It can also be presented as individual servings, scooped onto a lettice leaves or pineapple slices.
