This version of macaroni salad includes canned tuna, hard boiled
eggs, and peas so it is hearty enough to be served as a cold entree
at a picnic on a warm summer day.
-3 cups of macaroni
-12 ounces of canned tuna
-3 boiled eggs, chopped
-2 stalks of celery, chopped
-10 ounce package of frozen green peas
-1 onion, chopped
-1 green pepper, chopped
-1/3 cup of Italian dressing
-1 cup mayonnaise
-1/2 cup sour cream (optional)
-1/2 teaspoons garlic powder
-1/2 teaspoon salt
-1/8 teaspoon black pepper
Mix salad ingredients together, mix dressing ingredients
together, and gently fold the dressing into the salad.
This can be served in a large bowl garnished with hard cooked
egg slices and paprika. It can also be presented as individual
servings, scooped onto a lettice leaves or pineapple slices.
