Celebrity Resorts Waikiki Hotel

Informatin about the Celebrity Resorts timeshare property and low-rise apartment hotel, formerly known as the "White Sands Waikiki Resort Club". The resort was located on Nohohani Street in Central Waikiki until it abruptly shut down in May of 2009.

Celebrity Resorts Waikiki Abruptly Shuts Down
The White Sands Waikiki Resort Club and timeshare operated by Celebrity Resorts shut down in May of 2009 when it could not reach an agreement with the Queen Emma Land Company to exend its lease on the 33,000 square foot piece of land it occupied. Leases will also expire in 2010 for the Miramar Hotel the Ohana Waikiki West, the Hawaiian Prince Apartments and 3 Condominiums with 54 units on Kanekapolei Street.
