The Doubletree Alana Hotel is a three star hotel located
on the Ala Moana end of Waikiki, about half a block
from the Hilton Hawaiian Village Resort and
a five or ten minute walk from the Hawaii Convention Center.
It has 268 hotel rooms, 45 suites,
a heated swimming pool on the second
floor, and a fitness center.
The standard guest rooms at the hotel are about 330 square feet in size
and they have either one king or two queen beds,
coffee makers, and private lanais with city or ocean views.
The suites have separate bedroom and living room areas
and wet bars.
The on-site Alana Bistro serves three meals a day and
it is open form 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
Padovani's Restaurant and Wine Bar, which was located in the hotel
at one time, closed on January 9, 2006.
