Ala Moana Boulevard Hotels
Waikiki, Oahu, Hawaii

There are three clusters of hotels and condominiums on Ala Moana Boulevard in West Waikiki. Three are adjacent to the Ala Wai Yacht Harbor, three are across Ala Moana Boulevard from the yacht harbor, and four are closer to Fort DeRussy Park. These hotels are not on the beach but Duke Kahanamoku Beach - the widest beach in Waikiki - is within walking distance of all of them.

Ala Moana Blvd Hotels Near the Yacht Harbor

The Ala Wai Boulevard hotels closest to the Ala Wai Yacht Harbor are also closer to Ala Moana Beach Park, Magic Island, and the Ala Moana Shopping Center then the other West Waikiki hotels.

Yacht Harbor Area - Ocean Side of Ala Moana Blvd

The Hawaii Prince Hotel, the Ilikai Marina Condominiums, and the Renaissance Ilikai Hotel are located near the yacht harbor on the ocean side of Ala Moana Boulevard. From west to east:

Hawaii Prince Hotel

The ultra-modern twin towers of the Hawaii Prince Hotel each has a glass elevator for transport visitors to 521 rooms on 33 floors. Located on the corner of Holomoana Street and Ala Moana Boulevard at 100 Holomoana Street.

Ilikai Marina Condominiums
The 18 story Ilikai Marina Condominiums a is connect by a pedestrian bridge to the Ilikai Hotel next door. the condos in the building are privately owned but often units are available for short term vacation rental. Located at 1765 Ala Moana Boulevard.

Renaissance Ilikai Hotel
The 343 room Ilikai Hotel is a full service resort overlooking the Ala Wai Yacht Harbor. The hotel underwent a multi million dollar upgrade in 2007. Located at 1777 Ala Moana Boulevard.

Yacht Harbor Area - Mountain Side of Ala Moana Blvd

The Aqua Equus Hotel, the Aqua Waikiki Marina Hotel, and the budget category Big Surf Condominiums are near the yacht harbor, but on the mountain side of Ala Moana Boulevard. In addition to being close to Ala Moana Park and the Ala Moana Mall these hotels are not far from the Hawaii Convention Center and the tree shaded Ala Wai Canal Pedestrian Promenade. From west to east:

Big Surf Hotel
Very basic, low cost apartment hotel that - at least at one time - was run by, and popular with, surfers. Located at 1690 Ala Moana Boulevard.

Aqua Equus Hotel
This 68 room hotel was called the Polo Inn at one time but after it was upgrade dby Aqua Resorts it was given a new name. Located at 1696 Ala Moana Boulevard.

Aqua Waikiki Marina Hotel
The Aqua Waikiki Marina has budget-priced studio units with kitchenettes and a swimming pool and lighted tennis court on the grounds. Located at 1700 Ala Moana Boulevard

Ala Moana Blvd Hotels Near Fort DeRussy Park

The Holiday Inn Waikiki, the Aqua Palms Hotel, the Inn the Park Condominiums, and the Doubletree Alana Hotel Waikiki are located across the street from Fort DeRussy Park and not far from Hawaii Army Museum on the east side of that park. From west to east the hotels in this area are:

Holiday Inn Waikiki
Located at 1830 Ala Moana Boulevard

Aqua Palms Hotel
Located at 1850 Ala Moana Boulevard Formerly known as the Waikiki Parkside Hotel.

Inn on the Park
This 21 story building has 247 privately owned studio condominium units with kitchenettes. Usually there are also units available for short term vacation rental. Located at 1920 Ala Moana Boulevard

Alana Hotel Waikiki
Located at 1956 Ala Moana Boulevard. 303 room hotel with a swimming pool and a restaurant. Operated under Hilton's Doubletree brand.
