About the USS Missouri Battleship
America’s last battleship, the USS Missouri (BB-63), launched in January 1944, fought in the pivotal Pacific battles of Iwo Jima and Okinawa, and secured her place in history as the site of Japan’s formal surrender that ended history’s most devastating war. She and her crews over five decades continued a long career in defense of freedom, including service in the Korean War and the First Gulf War. The Missouri was decommissioned for the final time in 1992 but was soon reborn as the "Battleship Missouri Memorial" in Pearl Harbor, together with the USS Arizona Memorial symbolizing the beginning and the end of America’s role in WWII. Today, the Battleship Missouri Memorial welcomes approximately 400,000 visitors from around the world each year and is a recognized model for historic museum ship attractions and interactive history-based education experiences.

About the USS Missouri Battleship Tours
The Battleship Missouri Memorial’s standard operating hours are from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. General admission is $16 per adult and $8 per child 4-12. Military and kamaaina (local resident) admission is $10 per adult and $5 per child 4-12. All military in uniform are granted free admission at the gate. Guided tours are recommended and begin at just $7 additional per person. For visitor information or to reserve a tour, call toll-free at 1-877-MIGHTYMO (1-877-644-4896) or visit www.ussmissouri.org.
