Sunday Oahu Events

A guide to events that happen every Sunday on the island of Oahu in Hawaii. Note that events that occur at least five days a week are included in the Daily Oahu Events section.

Art at the Zoo
Every Saturday and Sunday from 9 am to 4 pm local artists display their work on the fence surrounding the Honolulu Zoo on Monsarrat Avenue across from the Kapiolani Park Bandstand.

Hawaiian Railway Train Rides
Every Aunday you can take a 90 minute ride on the Hawaiian Railway from 91-1001 Renton Road in Ewa to Kahe Point. Departures are at 1:00 and 3:00 pm. Price is $10. Call 808-681-5461 for more information.

Hoomaluhia Botanical Gardens Tour
Every Sunday at 1:00 pm the Hoomaluhia Botanical Gardens offers a free tropical plant walk to the public. Bring walking shoes, insect repellant, and rain gear. For reservations call 808-233-7323.

Na Mele Nei Ward Warehouse Concerts
A live music concert held every Sunday starting at 1:00 pm at the Ward Warehouse in Honolulu. For more information contact Native Books na Mea Hawaii at 808-596-8885.

Nuuanu Valley Walking Tours
Every Saturday and Sunday, the Hawaii Geographic society offers a "Petroglyphs, Waterfalls, and Rainforest" walking tour in the Nuuanu Valley that includes Kapena Falls and other sites. Tour price is $15. For reservations or more information call 808-538-3952.
