Kuhio Beach Torch Lighting and Hula Show

There is a sunset torchlighting ceremony and hula performance every evening at sunset in Waikiki on the island of Oahu in Hawaii.

Almost every evening between 6 and 7 there is a torch lighting and conch shell ceremony at Kuhio Beach in Waikiki, followed by performances featuring some of Hawaii's finest hula performers. The performance takes place on the Kuhio Beach hula mound from 6 to 7 pm. Seating is on the lawn and beach chairs are permitted. For a schedule of performers, see the city of Honolulu's Culture and Arts Calendar (select the current month's PDF calendar on this page)>

Note that during certain times of the year, these concerts might only take place on Fridays and Saturday evenings, and if the weather is very bad the events will be cancelled.
