On U.S. Independence Day there are usually
fireworks displays and celebrations at Ala Moana Center,
at the Aloha Tower Marketplace in Downtown Honolulu,

the North Shore, at Kailua Beach Park in Kaiaua, East Oahu
and at several other locations. There is also a running
event called the Bill Emerson Memorial Freedom Run
for Epilepsy, 4th of July cruises, and other events
and activities.

July Sports in Oahu include the Honolulu Tinman Triathlon,
the World Deaf Surfing Championships,
the Molokai to Oahu Paddleboard Race,
the Bill Emerson Memorial Freedom Run for Epilepsy,
