Aloha Boat Days
Port of Honolulu, Hawaii
When ocean liners first started arriving in Hawaii
the local residents would gather at the pier to
greet the visitors, dive for coins tossed overboard,
offer to sell visitors a lei, and provide music entertainment.
The Aloha Boat Days Committee has revived that tradition.
