2009 Ala Wai Challenge

The 2009 Ala Wai Challenge canoe races and Hawaiian games took place January 25, 2009 on the Ala Wai Canal in Honolulu. The watersports honorees that year were Hawaiian canoe builder Bobby Puakea and legendary surfer and lifeguard Clyde Aikau.
