About the Waioli Tea Room:
The Waioli Tea Room was built in 1922 and it was originally a school for a children's home. The building is listed on the United States National Register of Historic Places. Today the tea room sits on property owned by the Salvation Army of Hawaii and it is a popular spot for breakfast and luncheon. The menu includes items such as salads, egg dishes, sandwiches, desserts, fancy coffees, non-alcoholic fruit drinks, and a variety of teas. Traditional afternoon tea is also available, if reservations are made 24 hours in advance.
