Honolulu Gay and Lesbian Bars

A guide to gay and lesbian bars in Honolulu on the island of Oahu in Hawaii.

Angles Waikiki
A gay neighborhood bar located in Waikiki on Kuhio Avenue near Seaside. Has dancing, pool tables, and an outdoor lanai area.

Black Garter Cafe
A bar and dance club for lesbian visitors to Hawaii and the Honolulu lesbian community.

Blazing Saddles Country Dance Club
A country and western dance club for the Honolulu gay and lesbian community. Sometimes Latin dancing is also featured. The club has weekly free lessons and dance parties at the Ala Wai Gold Course Clubhouse Ballroom in Honolulu

Fusion
A gay bar on Kuhio Avenue in Waikiki that is stays open until 4 am. Special events on the weekends include drag shows, male srippers, and dancing.

In Between
A mostly gay bar on Lau'ula Street near Waikiki with video screens and a karaoke sound system.

Hula's Bar and Lei Stand
This primarily gay club in Waikiki is also frequented by non gays. It is located on the corner of Kuhio Avenue and Kalaimoku Street in a building with a courtyard sheltered by a banyon tree. Founded in 1974 by Honolulu realtors Jack Law and Bob Magoon.
