Sam Choy's Diamond Head Restaurant
At one time Sam Choy had a fine dining restaurant at 449 Kapahulu Avenue, on the Diamond Head end of Waikiki, above the Hee Hing Chinese Restaurant. Sam Choy's Diamond Head Restaurant closed on June 29, 2008. After Sam Choy moved out, Sergio's Italian Rerstaurant moved out of the Hilton Hawaiian Village resort and into this spot. I think there is still a Sergio's at the HHV but I believe that one is more of a family restaureant now then a fine dining restaurant.

Surf Room at the Royal Hawaiian Hotel
When The Royal Hawaiian Hotel was refurbished in 2008 and 2009 its Surf Room Restaurant was closed and a new high end restaurant called "Azure" was opened.
