Restaurants in Chinatown Honolulu

There are several different types of Chinese restaurants in Honolulu's Chinatown but there are also restaurants featuring the cusines of many other countries including Vietnamese, Korean, Japanese, and Filipino restaurants.

Chau
The specialty at Chau is Pho, a Vietnamese noodle soup and the restaurant often has long lines. Located at 1007 River Street. Phone: 808-533-4549.

Grand Cafe and Bakery
This popular bakery shares a courtyard with the HASR restaurant. Phone: 808-531-0001.

HASR
The name of this restaurant is an acronym for "highly allocated spoiled rotten". It shares a courtyard witht he above mentioned Grand Cafe and Bakery. Located at 31 North Pauahi Street. Phone: 808-535-9463.

Indigo Eurasian Cuisine
Popular menu items at Indigo include lobster pot stickers and fish wrapped in banana leaves. Located at 1121 Nuuanu Avenue. Phone: 808-521-2900.

Legend Seafood
This famous restaurant at the corner of River and Beretania has a large noisy dining room and it is always packed with locals. It is famous for its dim sum.

Little Village
Pot stickers are a popular menu item at this restaurant and their menu includes quite a view items for vegeterian diners although this is not a totally vegetarian restaurant. Located at 1113 Smith Street. Phone: 808-545-3008.

Red Elephant
This restaurant opened in October of 2005. In addition to the restaurant it also has a 135 seat theater space. Located at 1144 Bethel Street. Phone: 808-545-2468.
