Royal Hawaiian Ocean Racing Club
(no Web site)
Founded in 1985 to promote and assist with
producing the Kenwood Cup Hawaii International
Ocean Racing series, a biennial Central Pacific
racing series held between 1986 and 2000 when
Japan's Kenwood Corporation was no longer able to sponsor the series.
In 2004 members of the Waikiki Yacht Club founded
a series similar to the Kenwood Cup called the
Waikiki Offshore Racing Series. QUESTION: Does
the Royal Hawaiian Ocean Racing Club still exist
as an organization?
