Town of Waipahu
Central Oahu, Hawaii

Waipahu is a former sugar mill town located im Central Oahu on the northern shore of both the middle loch and the west loch of Pearl Harbor. The Oahu Sugar Company was established in Waipahu in the late 1800's. At that time Waipahu was a village known as "Aualii". Amfac's Oahu Sugar Company closed down in April of 1995. At that time the company was know as Amfac/JMB Hawaii's Oahu Sugar Company.
