Wa'ahila Ridge State Recreation Area

Wa'ahila Ridge State Recreation Area is a 50 acre park located on a ridge in the Koolau Mountain Range, just north of Honolulu. The park is located on a ridge with Norfolk Island pine trees, and from the park there are views of the Manoa Valley and the Palolo Valley. Facilities include picnic tables and hiking trails.

Wa'ahila Ridge Power Lien Project Rejected
In June of 2002 the Board of land and Natural Resources denied the Hawaiian Electric Comany a conservation district usage permit to place huge towers and high voltage lines on the Wa'ahila Ridge Conservation Lands.
