North Shore Oahu Snorkeling Spots
Pupukea Tidepools
The Pupukea tidepools are located in Pupukea Beach Park
and the Pupukea Marine Life Conservation District, which includes
all of the shoreline from Waimea Bay to Kulalua Point.
Shark's Cove
Shark's Cove is located between
the Pupukea Tidepools and
Kulalua Point on the north shore of Oahu.
South Shore Oahu Snorkeling Spots
Hanauma Bay State Underwater Park
This beach park on the southeast coast of Oahu
is the most popular spot for Hawaii visitors
who want to go snorkeling, because of its
beauty and because it is not far from Waikiki.
Fort DeRussy Beach
This white sand beach on the west end of Waikiki,
in front of the Hale Koa Hotel, is popular for snorkling because
of its offshore coral reef.
Queen's Surf Beach
This beach is located across the street from
Kapiolani park, between the Natatorium
and the Waikiki Aquarium. There is a reef
in front of the aquarium that is easy to access.
Windward Oahu Snorkeling Spots
Lanikai Beach
This beautiful beach on the windward eastern
side of Oahu has a reef that is good for snorkeling.
