Sand Island State Recreation Area
Sand Island State Recreation area is a waterside park
with beautiful views of Waikiki and Honolulu Harbor. The park
situated on an island near the Honolulu International Airport and it can
be accessed via a causeway from Nimitz Highway. Sand Island Park
has a sandy beach, a grassy picnic area, 34 camp sites,
and I believe it also has a boat ramp.
