Pounders Beach is long, crescent shaped, white sand beach
located within Laie Beach Park on the windward
side of Oahu, between the towns of Haula and Laie.
It is approximately 2000 feet long and 100 feet wide,
and the shoreline has a sandy bottom that drops off
abruptly where the surf breaks.
Pounders Beach was given its name because its
exposure to the open ocean results in high surf
and pounding waves all year, but especially during the
winter months.
Pounders Beach is a popular spot for
bodyboarding, bodysurfing, skimboarding, fishing, and swimming.
Pounder's Beach Vacation Rentals
These two upstairs apartments on Pounder's Beach
