Hawaii's Polynesian Cultural Center, located about one hour's scenic drive from Waikiki, is the top paid Hawaii attraction for a reason. Our seven native villages give visitors the rare chance to participate in the daily adventures of Hawaiian and other South Pacific cultures. Add Hawaii's most authentic luau and the world's largest Polynesian night show and you'll see why every trip to Hawaii should include a visit to the Polynesian Cultural Center.

More About the Polynesian Cultural Center
The Polynesian Cultural Center was founded in 1963 to preserve and portray the culture, arts, and crafts of Polynesian countries to the rest of the world. The center is a 42-acre complex of Polynesian "islands" representing Fiji, Hawaii, New Zealand (Maori), the Marquesas, Samoa, Tahiti and Tonga. between the villages there are lagoons and canals that are used for colorful canoe pageants and guided canoe tours. The Polynesian Cultural Center has more than 1,200 employees, 700 of whom are students at the nearby Brigham Young University in Hawaii.

Where Everything is Located
the Polynesian villages and canoe parade lagoons cover several acres on the right side of the main entrance. Hale Aloha, where the Alii Luau takes place, is located just to the right of the main entrance. The Pacific Theater, where the Horizons evening show takes place, and the Treasures of Polynesia Shopping Center are located to the left of the main entrance.
