MediSpas are doctor's offices, clinics, and other
facilities offering aesthetic procedures more aggressive
then those available at the typical spa. MediSpa procedures
include injections of Botox and skin fillers, chemical
and physical peels, hair transplants, and procedures
for removing unwanted hair, wrinkles, tattoos, scars,
moles, birthmarks, and unsightly veins.
Aesthetica
The procedures at this MediSpa on Kapiolani Boulevard
are performed by Doctor Gregory Caputy and Doctor Joy Bliss
and their staff of aestheticians. Procedures include
Botox injections, Dermologen fillers, laser hair removal,
laser skin resurfacing, chemical peels, leg vein removal,
tattoo removal, facials, and lymphatic body massage.
They also perform aesthetic surgery including
breast augmentation, breast reduction, face lifts, nose reshaping,
tummy tucks, buttock lifts, and liposuction.
Bareskin Hawaii
Doctor Kenneth K. H. Kau's MediSpa on South King
Street in Honolulu offers intense pulsed light
(IPL) facials, sunless tanning,
microdermabrasion, and laser removal
of spider veins and unwanted body hair.
Doctor Gregory Herbich
Procedures performed by Doctor Herbich include
laser treatments for removal of tattoos,
unsightly veins, scars, stretch marks, wrinkles,
and brown spots. He also performs cosmetic surgery
procedures such as nose reshaping, eyelid surgery,
face lifts, breast augmentation, breast reduction,
liposuction, and hair transplants.
Doctor Herbich has an office on Bishop Street in
downtown Honolulu and he also has two offices
on Maui.
Doctor Michael A. Pasquale
The doctor's clinic and MediSpa on Ala Moana
Boulevard in Honolulu performs non-surgical
cosmetic procedures including
chemical peels, dermabrasion, Botox,
injectable wrinkle fillers, body hair removal,
vein removal. He also performs cosmetic surgery
procedures such as face lifts, brow lifts,
rhinoplasty, lip augmentation, and
hair transplants.
Holistica Hawaii Health Center
Holistica does not offer typical MediSpa procedures
but I am including them here because they are located
at the Hilton Hawaiian Village Resort in Waikiki
and many of their customers are visitors to Hawaii.
The center performs elective and preventive electron
beam tomography (EBT) scans of the heart, lungs, brain,
abdominal, and pelvic areas of the body. Bone density
scans and full body scans are also available. EBT
scans can be used to diagnose diseases and health
problems in their earliest stages.
Hawaii Skin Cancer and Photodamager Center
Doctor Kevin J. Mott's clinic and MediSpa
performs Mohs microgeraphic surgery to remove
skin cancer plus cosmetic procedures such as
laser resurfacing, chemical peels, injections of
Botox and facial fillers, and laser removal of
unsightly surface veins.
Honolulu Laser Center and Spa
This laser center on Liliha Street in Honolulu
performs laser hair removal, laser skin resurfacing,
chemical peels, Botox injections, facial
filler injections, and regular spa treatments such as
facials and massage therapy.
Q laser Center
The MediSpa treatments offered at this clinic on Bethel Street
in Honolulu include laser-based procedures for
facial skin rejuvenation and removing of unwanted body hair,
spider veins, and age spots. The Q Laser Center also offer
light chemical peels, facials, and body waxing.
Straub Clinic and Hospital
The Straub Clinic is located in Kailua on the windward
side of Oahu. Their
Dermatology Department
performs aesthetic procedures such as
Botox injections, facial filler injections,
dermabrasion, facial peels, and removal of unwanted
body hair, wrinkles, tattoos, surface veins. Their
Plastic Surgery Department
performs anti-aging surgery such as face lifts,
eyelid surgery and hair replacement and body sculpting procedures
such as breast augmentation, body lifts, and nose surgery.
Zen Spa and Medical Center
This Honolulu Star Bulletin article features
a doctor's office at Honolulu's Restaurant Row
that offers MediSpa treatments in addition to
medical diagnosis and treatments. Those
treatments include facial injections to remove
wrinkles, hair removal, dermabrasion, and even
facials and massage therapy. Physicians associated
with this MediSpa are Doctor Bradley
Sakaguchi and Doctor Lori Kelsey.
