Korean and Vietnam War Memorial
Historic Downtown Honolulu

This memorial to Hawaii men and women who died during the Korean War and the Vietnam War is located in the historic capitol district of Honolulu, near the Iolani Palace and the Hawaii State Capitol Building.

The Hawaii Korean and Vietnam War Memorial is a serpentine wall that is six feet high and nearly 100 feet long. It is made of polished, black granite topped with a black lava rock wall and a planter. The memorial is made up of hundreds of one foot square pedestals engraved with the names of people from Hawaii who died during the Korean and Vietnam wars. There is a separate section for each of those wars. Attractions Within Walking Distance:
