Visiting the James Campbell National Wildlife Refuge
It is possible to visit the wildlife refuge on
the north shore of Oahu from the third Saturday
in October thrugh the third Saturday in February.
It is closed to the public during the rest of the year.

James Campbell National Wildlife Refuge
This national wildlife refuge on the northern tip of Oahu
was established in 1976, when the Kahuku Sugar Mill
closed down, and the surrounding waterbird habitat
was in danger of disappearing
