The Honolulu Zoo is located in Kapiolani Park,
at the corner of Kapahulu Avenue and Kalakaua Boulevard,
on the Diamond Head end of Waikiki
Beach in Honolulu on the island of Oahu.

The official Web site of the Honolulu Zoo includes
an introduction to the zoo, directions, operating
hours, history, special events, educational materials,
and information about the animals in the zoo.
Honolulu Zoo Twilight Tours
An article in the Honolulu Star Bulletin newspaper
about the two-hour Saturday evening tours offered by the Honolulu
Zoo. Visitors carry flashlights covered with red
celephane and they must remain very quiet to avoid
disturbing the animals.
Honolulu Zoo Summer Concert Series
There is an evening concert series during the summer
at the Honolulu Zoo. Hawaii visitors and residents
like to bring their families and picnic dinners to
this weekly event. For many years this event was
sponsored by AT&T, but beginning in 2006 the event
was sponsored by Starbucks. The concerts are produced
by ukulele master Roy Sakuma. For more information,

Honolulu Zoo Society
A non profit organization founded to support the Honolulu Zoo
and to educate the public about the importance of
wildlife and conservation issues.
