Hawaii Army Museum

The United States Army Museum of Hawaii is located
on the west end of Waikiki Beach, on the
grounds of
Fort DeRussy Park, near the
Hale Koa Hotel.

This former military bunker in Waikiki now houses a museum
featuring the military history of Hawaii from
ancient times to the Vietnam War. Each military conflict
has a separate display with photographs and sound
effects. Other exhibits at the museum include helicopters, tanks, guns,
and vacant bunkers. The museum is open approximately
10 to 4 Tuesday through Sunday. Entry to the museum
is free.

An organization formed in 1976 to support the development
of the United States Army Museum at Fort DeRussy Park.
The society operates as a private organization under
