North Shore Surf and Cultural Museum
Haleiwa, North Shore, Oahu

Information about the North Shore Surf and Cultural Museum in Haleiwa Town on the north shore of Oahu in Hawaii. The museum is also known as the Haleiwa Surf Museum.

This vintage surfboard museum was founded in the 1990's by surfing memorabilia collectors Mark Fragale and John Moore. It was originally located inside John Moore's Strong Current Surf Shop in Haleiwa. Exhibits in the museum include vintage surfboards from the 1930's through the 1990's, surfing competition posters, historic surfing photos, surfing videos, and miscellaneous surfing memorabilia. The museum is now located in the North Shore Marketplace at 66-250 Kamehameha Highway on the north shore of Oahu. Admission to the museum is free. For more information call 808-637-8888.
