Attractions Near Diamond Head
Oahu, Hawaii

Information about activities and attractions on the Diamond Head end of Waikiki and also those centered around Diamond Head Crater. Attractions on this page are listed according to their proximity to Diamond Head are hotels, with the nearest attractions listed first.

Walking Distance From the Diamond Head Hotels

Kapiolani Park
This huge city park is located across the street from all of the hotels and condominiums on the Diamond Head end of Waikiki. It is the home of the Waikiki Shell outdoor theater and many festivals and special events.

The Natatorium
A war memorial that features a now closed swimming pool that is located between San Souci Beach and the Waikiki Aquarium.

Waikiki Aquarium
This is a lovely small aquarium located a very short walk from the Diamond head hotels. The aquarium is located on the seawall between the Natatorium and Kuhio Beach.

Honolulu Zoo
The Honolulu Zoo is located in Kapiolani Park, at the corner of Kapahulu Avenue and Kalakaua Boulevard, on the Diamond Head end of Waikiki Beach in Honolulu on the island of Oahu.

San Souci Beach
This beach is located in front of the New Otani Kaimana Hotel and right next to the San Souci Condominium building. It is located between Kuhio Beach and Colony Surf Beach.

Waikiki Beach
Facts and information about the Waikiki area of Honolulu including the beaches of Waikiki, the best hotels and restaurants, and general information about Waikiki including its history.

Colony Surf Beach
There is a small beach in front of the Colony Surf Condominium building that is also close to the W Honolulu Hotel and the Diamond Head Beach Hotel. Colony Surf Beach is located between San Souci Beach and the Outrigger Club.

Two Diamond Head Area Private Clubs
There are two exclusive, private clubs located on the water on the Diamond Head end of Waikiki, the Outrigger Canoe Club and the Honolulu Elk's Lodge.

Diamond Head Crater Attractions

The hotels and restaurants on the diamond Head end of Waikiki Beach are not really within walking distance of Diamond Head Crater, but they are within a very short drive.
