Oahu Beaches by Location

A guide to the beaches of Oahu, organized by location.

South Shore Beaches
Beaches on the southeast shore of Oahu, including Waikiki Beach, Ala Moana Beach, Diamond Head Beach, Hanauma Bay, Sandy Beach, and more.

North Shore Beaches
The northwest shore of Oahu is a world class surfing destination and some of its more famous beaches and breaks include Sunset Beach, the Banzai Pipeline, and Waimea Beach.

East Shore Beaches
The windward beaches of Oahu are popular for windsurfing, kayaking, and other water sports and they include Kailua Beach, Lanikai Beach, Waimanalo Beach, Bellows Beach, and more.

West Shore Beaches
Oahu's southwest shore is another prime surfing area, and among its most popular beaches are Makaha Beach, the three Ko'olina Lagoons beaches, and the beaches at Poikai and and Yokohama bays.
