First Friday Artwalk in Chinatown
The best time to take this self-guided tour
of art spots in the Nuuanu area north of
Hotel Street is on the first Friday of each
month between 5 and 9 pm. The tour includes
art galleries, museums, cafes, antique stores,
building lobbies, and even a tattoo parlor.
Art at the Zoo Fence
Every Saturday and Sunday from 9 am to 4 pm
you can view the work of local artists at an
outdoor gallery on Monsarrat Avenue next to
the Honolulu Zoo.
Haleiwa Arts Festival
An arts and crafts festival held every year on
the north shore of Oahu, usually in July.
