Train Tours on Oahu

Trains are no longer used for transportation on the island of Oahu in Hawaii, but trains rides highlighting Oahu's plantation history are available in Central and South Oahu.

Oahu Railway Train
Visitors to the island of Oahu can take a six mile narrated train ride which begins in Ewa, in West Oahu. This stretch of train track is included on the State and National Registers of Historic Sites.

Pineapple Express at the Dole Plantation
A two hour, 20 minute, narrated train ride through a working pineapple plantation in central Oahu. Train passengers learn about the history of the pineapple industry and agriculture in Hawaii.

Hawaiian Railway Society
An Oahu-based organization formed in 1970 to save what remains of Hawaii's railroad history.
