Oahu Submarine Tours

Information about submarine tours on the island of Oahu in Hawaii.

Oahu Atlantis Submarine Tours
Submerge to a depth of 100 feet in the water off of Waikiki Beach to view undersea coral, tropical fish, sea turtles, and a sunken ship and airpline. Tours are on a 48 passenger submarine or on a larger 64 passenger submarine with more personal space and larger windows.

Voyager Submarines Tours
In 1999 there were two commercial passenger submarine companies operating on the island of Oahu, Atlantis Submarine (above) and another company called "Voyager Submarines". Voyager operated two tour submarines out of Ala Moana Beach Park. Voyager operated in an area abut .6 miless offshore of the Ewa end of Ala Moana Beach Park. The Voyager's operational and maintenance base was at Honolulu Harbor's Pier 41. Two tug boats, the MV Lopaka and the MV Hookeli, towed the Voyager's two submarines to the dive site at 7:00 a.m. every day and they were towed back to Pier 41 between 3:00 and 4:30 every day. Tour participants were shuttled from the Kewalo Basin to the submarine on the MV Palani.
