Oahu Horseback Riding Lessons

Where to take horseback riding lessons on the island of Oahu in Hawaii.

Equine 808
The Equine 808 Horse Ranch offers horseback riding lessons, a horseback cattle herding clinic, horse training, and a horse transporting service. Equine 808 also operates a horse rescue service for neglected horses. Located in Ewa Beach on the southwest coast of Oahu.

Gunstock Ranch
The Gunstock Ranch offers horseback riding lessons taught by instructor Holly Fernandez. Has shorter lessons for children age 5 to 7 and one hour lessons for older riders. Located in Laie on the northeast coast of Oahu.

Koko Crater Equestrian Center
This equestrian center inside Koko Crater on the southwest coast of Oahu offers half hour private lessons, 45 minute semi-private lessons, and one hour group lessons. Lessons can be purchased individually or in packs of 5 or 10 lessons. Special trail-riding lessons featuring rides through the Koko Crater Botanical Garden are available for riders at least 10 years of agae. Located at 408 Kealahou Street on the southeast coast of Oahu. Phone: 808-395-2628.

Malu Olu Ranch
The horseback riding lessons taught by Judy and Angela Woods include lessons in jumping, western, and dressage. Located in Waimanalo on the eastern windward side of Oahu. For more information call Judy Woods at 808-256-3889 or Angela Woods at 808-383-8743.
