Honolulu Shopping Centers

Information about large and small shopping malls and shopping centers in Honolulu on the island of Oahu in Hawaii.

Ala Moana Center
This huge outdoor shopping mall between Waikiki and Downtown Honolulu was built in 1959, the year Hawaii became a state. It has more then 260 shops and restaurants, and an expansion project to be completed in 2008 will add a Nordstrom's, 15 shops, and 800 parking spaces.

Aloha Tower Marketplace
This outdoor shopping center on the waterfront in Downtown Honolulu opened in 1994 and it has more then 70 shops and restaurants. The center was built around the historic Aloha Tower, a structure constructed in 1926 to welcome visitors to Honolulu.

Dole Cannery Square
The former Dole cannery has been converted into a shopping center and office building with a Costco, a Best Buy, A Hme Depot, an 18 screen movie theater and about 35 additional shops and restaurants. (650 Iwilei Street, Honolulu, Oahu, Hawaii)

Manoa Marketplace (no Web site)

- Manoa Marketplace sold in 2006 for $25 Million

Victoria Ward Centers
The Victoria Ward Center fills four city blocks and it has more then 140 shops and restaurants, a farmer's market and a sixteen screen movie theater. Shopping areas within the complex include Ward Warehouse, Ward Centre, Ward Gateweay, Ward Village, the Ward Farmer's Market and the Ward Entertainment Center.
