Kawananakoa Dynasty

The House of Kawananakoa never ruled Hawaii, but it is historically recognized that they would have been heirs to the thrown of Hawaii if the Hawaiian Kingdom had not been overthrown. On April 23, 2006 Quentin Kawananakoa, current head of the House of Kawananakoa, announced his intention to run for the congressional seat vacated by Ed Case.
