Paniolo Hale Condominium
West Molokai, Hawaii

The Paniolo Hale Condominiums are located on the west coast of Hawaii's Molokai Island on the grounds of the Kaluakoi Resort. One thing that makes these units special is that they all have large covered and screened lanais that can be connected to the indoor living area by opened a large set of folding doors.

The Paniolo Hale is a 77 unit condominium complex built on the grounds of the Kaluakoi Resort in 1979. The units include studio apartments with one bathroom, one bedroom units with one bathroom, one bedroom units with two bathrooms, and two bedroom units with two bathrooms. I have even seen one three bedroom unit listed, and that was in building F.

All of the PanioloHale condominiums have oak floors on the first level and most of them have ceiling fans, dishwashers, self cleaning ovens, washers and dryers, refrigerators with ice makers, smoke alarms, and microwave ovens. All of the units have bifold doors that open the living room onto a large screened lanai that is large enough for both lounging furniture and a dining table. Most of the two bedroom units have built-in hots tubs on their lanais. some of the units have bedrooms that can be closed off from the living room by shutting a set of bifold doors. Amenities on the grounds include a swimming pool, tennis courts, and a barbecue area.

The Paniolo Hale condominium units are located between the 10th and 18th fairways of the Kaluakoi Golf Resort. The units are in 21 buildings that have been assigned letters from A though U. The units adjacent to the swimming pool are in buildings R, Q, P, S, and U. The units adjacent to the paddle tennis court are in buildings A, B, D, C, and T.

Condominium complex located on the west end of Molokai, at Kepuhi beach (address is Kakaako Road, Maunaloa). I read on one review that Papohaku beach was nearby. Complex is described as quiet and well maintained with quiet pool area. Units have ocean or garden views and several sizes are available including studio units and 1, 2, and three bedroom units. Amenities on the grounds include a swimming pool. some of the units have beautiful, semi-enclosed lanais. Some people complain about bugs, but hey, this is the tropics. Nearest shops are in Kaunakakai, about 30 minutes drive away. Some also complain about old defunct hotel being "creepy".
-Unit I1 is a corner unit with beautiful ocean views from a screened-in wrap-around porch. Unit has cathedral ceilings and many glass doors that gave it an inside/outside feel with the lanai. Has a washer and dryer. No a/c but there was a ceiling fan.
-I2 was large screened enclosed studio (not sure what that meanss) lots of ants. no dish soap. bedspreads musty.not clean.
-F2 one bedroom, 2 bathroom, middle condo. Had screened lanai and extra double bed in living room. great odean view, nice appliances. Nosy and noisy neighbors.
