Scuba Diving on Molokai

Information about places to go scuba diving and where to rent scuba diving gear on the island of Molokai in Hawaii. Molokai is not the best place for diving because of its high winds and large swells, but there are plenty of things to see underwater. Scuba diving sites on Maui include Moku Hooniki (aka Hooniki Rock), Fish Bowl, Fish Rain, The Cove, and Hole in the Wall.

Molokai Fish and Dive
This Kaunakakai-based fishing and diving tour operator offers two and three tank dives on a 31 foot twin-hull power catamaran.

Scuba Dive Maui - Molokai Dive Sites
Occasionally one of the dive boat tours organized by Maui-based "Scuba Dive Maui" will take divers across the channel between Maui and Molokai, but those trips are not frequent because that channel is completely unprotected from the wind, making it typically a rough crossing.

Lahaina Divers
Maui-based Lahaina Divers will sometimes take very advanced divers to Molokai.
