2009 Queen Kaahumanu Center Veterans Day Ceremony

The Maui Sons and Daughters of Nisei Veterans will present displays and live entertainment in the Center Court of the Queen Kaahumanu Center on Veterans Day, November 11, 2009, from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The Queen Kaahumanu Center is located at 275 West Kaahumanu Avenue in Kahului, Maui. 2009 Holiday Fair by the Sons and Daughters of Nisei Veterans
This holiday craft fair sponsored by the Sons and Daughters of Nisei Veterans will take place at the War Memorial Gym in Wailuku, Maui on the Sunday before Veterans Day, November 8, 2009, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. For more information about the event call the Nisei Veterans Memorial Center at 808-244-6862.

Maui Veterans Cemetery
The Maui Veterans Cemetery is located on Baldwin Avenue in Makawao, Upcountry Maui. If you would like to place flags or flowers on the graves of Maui veterans, or if you would like to learn more about the cemetery, call 808-572-7272.

West Maui Veterans Cemetery Proposal
The West Maui Veterans Club and other Maui veterans organizations are working hard to have a West Maui Veterans Cemetery included in the County's Kaanapali 2020 Plan.

Nisei Veterans Memorial Center
Multi-purpose veterans center overlooking Kahului Harbor in Central Maui that first opened in July of 2006. Located on Kahului Beach Road near the point where it turns into Lower Main Street. For more information about the center visit their Web site or call 808-244-6862.
