Great Maui Whale Festival

The February Maui Whale Festival includes a
week of activities such as the Maui Run for the Whales,
the Parade of Whales, a Whale Day Celebration in Kalama
Park, the Wild and Wonderful Whale Regatta,
the Great Whale County, whale-related educational
presentations, and special whale watching cruises
led by whale experts.
Maui Tango Festival
The Seventh Annual Maui Tango Festival - aka
TangoFest Maui - will take place February 4-8, 2009
in Haiku, Maui.

Lahaina Chinese New Year Celebration
This annual celebration taks place in either
January or February, and it usually includes
Chinese lion dancers parading through the shops
of Front Street on Friday and a Lahaina Chinese
New Year Street Festival on Front Street on
Saturday faturing live music, firecracker displays,
martial arts demonstrations, and booths offering arts
and crafts, ethnic foods, and activities.
