Kahului Harbor
Maui, Hawaii

Kahului Harbor is the main commercial harbor for the island of Maui and it is the third busiest Harbor in Hawaii, after Honolulu Harbor and Barbers Point Harbor.

Kahului Harbor is where the large container ships dock on the island Maui and it is also where the large ocean liners dock. The Kahului Railroad Company started building the Kahului Harbor in the early 1900's and in 1910 the United States Army Corps of Engineers started improving the breakwater and dredge the harbor. Deep-draft harbor improvements were completed in 1931.
