The Hana Highway

Articles, photos, and information about the beautiful Hana Highway on the island of Maui. The Hana Highway has about 50 miles of twisting road that begins in the upcountry cowboy town of Paia and ends at Kipahula.

Maui Highway 360 is also known as the Hana Highway and it winds along the coast between Hiika and Hana. Most of the road is only two lanes wide. The one-way trip to Hana usuallyc takes about four hours.

Hana Highway: Millenium Legacy Trail
The Hana Highway on the island of Maui was designated a Millenium Legacy Trail by the United States Office of Transportation in October of 1999.

2000 Hana Highway Celebration
An August 2001 celebration of the Hana Highway being designated as a Millinum Legacy Trail.
