The Lodge at Koele is a 21 acre, 102 room, luxury golf resort in the central Highlands of Lanai, not far from Lanai City. The lodge is in a pine forest at an elevation of about 1700 feet, so it is cooler then the coastal areas of Lanai. The atmosphere at the the Lodge at Koele is rather formal, resembling that of an English country estate. Formal afternoon tea is served in the lobby, and activities include golf, horseback riding, lawn bowling, croquet, and garden walks. Amenities include an 18 hole championship golf course, a swimming pool, two restaurants, and a fitness center. Room rates begin at approximately $400 per night.
