The Manele Small Boat Harbor was authorized in 1963 and construction was completed in 1965. In march of 2006 Hawaii Governor Linda Lingle released $2.5 million for improvements that included a covered waiting area for ferry passengers, paved walkways, access roads, and parking lots.

Manele Harbor has 24 boat slips, a boat ramp, a pier, a loading dock, restrooms, showers, and a harbor office. It is located on the south coast of Lanai in Manele Bay.
