Kauai Christmas Parades
Information about Christmas parades on the island of Kauai
in Hawaii. There are Kauai Christmas parades in Lihue on
Kauai's east coast and in Waimea on Kauai's southwest coast.
"Lights on Rice" Kauai Christmas Parade
(Lihue)
Every December there is a lighted
holiday parade in the town of Lihue
featuring lighted parade entries from
all over Kauai. The parade begins at
Vidinha Stadium, it continues down
Hoolako street to Rice Street,
and it ends on Eiwa Street at Lihue's
history county building. During the
event the parade route and feeder
streets to the parade route are closed
to auto traffic. The 10th Annual Lights on
Rice Parade took place on December 5, 2008
at 6:30 p.m. on Rice Street in downtown Lihue.

Waimea Christmas Lights Parade
(Waimea)
The 11th annual Waimea Christmas Lights Parade
will take place at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 23, 2006.
The parade will run along the Kaumualii Highway
from Waimea Canyon Drive to Ala Wai Road. The parade
will end on Waimea Road at Hofgaard Park, where there will
be entertainment and light refreshments.
