Hawaii State Parks on Kauai
Information about all of the Hawaii state parks on the
island of Kauai in Hawaii.
Ahukini State Recreation Pier
This recreational fishing pier on the east side of
Kauai has scenic views of Hanamaulu Bay and the
surrounding area.
Haena State Park
Kee Beach is located inside Haena State Park on the north
shore of Kauai, and the park also has ancient ruins,
sea caves, and the trail head for the Kalalau Na Pali Coast
Hiking Trail.
Kokee State Park
This state park on the west side of Kauai
is a 4350 acre wilderness park adjacent to Waimea
Canyon State Park. The park has a 4000 foot high
viewpoint over the Kalalau Valley.
Na Pali Coast State Park
There are five beaches and spectacular scenery in this remote
park on the north shore of Kauai, and three of those beaches
are accessible only by boat.
Polihale State Park
A 138 acre park on the north shore of Kauai with a large
sandy beach and views of the Na Pali Coast sea cliffs.
Fort Elizabeth State Historical Park
Visitors to this historic park on the banks of the Wailua River
can take a self-guided walking tour of an old Russian Fort.
Wailua River State Park
Attractions in 1100 acre Wailua River State Park park include
the Wailua River, hiking trails, archeological sites,
a boat launching ramp, and a picnic area in a coconut grove.
Waimea Canyon State Park
Waimea Canyon State Park is a 1870 acre park surrounding a deep,
colorful gorge on the west side of Kauai. Waimea Canyon is
sometimes known as the "Grand Canyon of the Pacific".
